Anorthosis Academy -Larnaka Division
The Anorthosis Academy - Larnaka Division is one of the leading football academies on the island, focusing on the development of young talent, both boys and girls. Currently, they host over 250 players supported by a team of 14 qualified coaches.
Moreover, the Academy is self-sustained and relies on player subscriptions and sponsorships to maintain its operations and improve the level of services offered. Our teams, which include 3 girls' teams (U18, U15, and U13) and 15 boys' teams (U5 to U14), participate in the Pancyprian and Grassroots championships.
Additionally, our teams participate in both local and overseas tournaments. Furthermore, our Academy is currently located in our newly refurbished football grounds, which consist of 5 full-size pitches.
Dog Shelter
At Cyprus Villa Retreats, we take pride in contributing to the community. Specifically, once a month, we use our company vehicles to transport around 20 dogs from Paphos to Larnaca airport. This way, they can embark on a new, better chapter with their new families.
Overall, various shelters in the Paphos area provide these dogs, and the UK-based charity Stronger Together Animal Rescue (STAR) rehomes them.
Moreover, charities, municipalities, and kind-hearted individuals fund the flights. These dedicated groups work tirelessly to aid homeless animals. From fundraising to health checks, they organize these life-changing journeys.
